  5. KING OF THE LINE, the new short documentary directed by Gwenaëlle Gobé won BEST DOCUMENTARY award at the Be Film Underground Film Festival!

    About KING OF THE LINE:
In the 1970’s New York City was going broke. Out of the rubble grew a brave movement of public art and display. In King Of The Line we follow 5 of the pioneers of Subway Graffiti Art, as they describe the struggle to inhabit public space with their art and signature. Often erased or criminalized these artists fought against an ever more oppressive police. The film looks at how modern day corporations have now tried to co-opt that same public space with their commercial messaging.

  6. One day, Stephanie was walking on the beach with an umbrella and suddenly a gust of wind lifted her up in the sky. She landed on a cloud. There wasn’t much room, but it was cozy. She fell asleep as the cloud drifted on. When she woke up, she was on a Desert Island near the land of Brooklyn. The mayor of the island, Gabe, greeted her with colors and weird drawings, and so she decided to stay. And hence, The Diary of Stephanie is now sold at Desert Island Comics in Brooklyn.
